Information on exchanges and returns

We will carry out your order with the utmost care. If your product still does not meet your expectations, you can return it under the following conditions:

Notice of defects (pursuant to Art. 197ff OR)

You can notify Tradingzone AG of any defects (lack of warranted characteristics or damage to the products) within five working days of receipt (date of delivery bill). We will then work with you to find a suitable solution (reduction, conversion (= exchange for equivalent furniture) or withdrawal from the purchase).

In the case of second-hand furniture, traces of use cannot be contested by the notice of defects. The lack of warranted characteristics (drawer cannot be opened, etc.) is again subject to the notice of defects.

General goodwill

If your request does not fall within the scope of the notice of defects, Tradingzone AG grants the right to return the goods for a refund of the purchase price under certain conditions.

Not refundable in any case:

  • Project orders  (letting, planning of furnishings, clearances, etc.),
  • Custom-made products
  • Occasions

Please note the following points:

  1. Period : Returns are possible within 14 days of receipt (date of delivery bill). If acceptance takes place later than the date of the delivery bill (primarily in the case of delivery by parcel services), the date of receipt by the buyer or his representative (date of signature on delivery bill) shall apply.
  2. Condition : We will only take back non-defective goods in their original packaging or - in the case of pre-assembled goods - in the condition in which they were delivered.
  3. Transportation : Returns must be made to our head office at Allmendstrasse 2, 8105 Regensdorf (for the purpose of checking the goods). The transportation of the goods is the responsibility of the buyer.
  4. Kosten : The costs for delivery are not refundable. If the buyer has benefited from free delivery, this cost will be added proportionately (see example).
  5. Payment : Payment is made by bank transfer on the 28th of the following month.

Special goodwill

Grossaufträge werden in der Regel im Paket mit umfassenden Services verkauft. Die Kulanz ist in diesem Falle spezieller Vertragsbestandteil und bedingt die Allgemeine Kulanz weg.

Example calculation of reimbursement:
Purchased: 10 tables at CHF 899.- each 8'990.-
Delivery: 750.-
discount (= free delivery): -750.-
Purchase price paid: 8'990.-
You as the buyer would now like to return 2 tables because you cannot use them.
You have complied with the condition and deadlines.

Return: 2 tables at CHF 899.- 1'798.-
Settlement of delivery (pro rata): -150.-
Total reimbursement: 1'648.-
In this example, the delivery costs for 10 tables would amount to CHF 750. Tradingzone AG calculates the costs for reimbursement on a straight-line basis for individual items. In this example, CHF 75 per table.
This calculation basis also applies to products of different values.
